Hello.DVD Shrink - Nero, probably easy to answer problem. - Hello, all. I just downloaded DVD Shrink to compress some 3+ hour DVD's to backup and have hit a bit of a snag. I run DVD Shrink, it encodes the source DVD, then I burn, using Nero, to a Memorex DVD+R. Everything runs fine, DVD Shrink encodes the source DVD perfectly, Nero burns without problems, however, the burned copy won'y play on any of my stand alone players. I first tried it in my Sony DVD player, which is an older model, but supports DVD-R and DVD+R formats and a message popped up reading, "c:13:00 Disc Dirty". At first I just assumed it was the brand of DVD+R's I was using, however, the burned copy didn't work in my XBOX 360 which supports DVD+R or my original Xbox. The burned copy DID work in my computer, including the original movie, bonus material and menus, but still doesn't work on my stand alone players.I did search, but didn't find any recent topics dealing with this specific situation.
